More than 200 families are in line to have their homes repaired or reconstructed by Harris County’s Project Recovery Homeowner Assistance Program. Addressing damages from floods of 2016 and Hurricane Harvey, HAP is bringing new hope and safer, healthier homes to families through the county who are being assisted by the program.
The County’s Homeowner Assistance Program is no longer accepting applications. For families still struggling with flood-damaged homes, the Texas General Land Office also has a Homeowner Assistance Program. the state program can be reached by calling (346) 222-4686 or toll free at (866) 317-1998, or by emailing glo@recovery.texas.gov.
